Quality Control
We perform a careful quality check on all our incoming samples and libraries. Please consult our submission guidelines to find out more about our standard requirements and how to meet them.
Submission Guidelines
The following measurements are performed:
DNA input samples
- sample concentration measurement with Qubit dsDNA HS Assay
- Fragment Analysis using the Agilent Fragment Analyzer HS NGS DNA or HS large fragment kit
RNA input samples
- sample concentration measurement with Qubit RNA BR Assay
- Fragment Analysis using the Agilent Fragment Analyzer RNA kit
User-prepared libraries:
- sample concentration measurement with Qubit dsDNA HS Assay
- Fragment Analysis using the Agilent Fragment Analyzer HS NGS DNA
- Mimicking cluster formation and molarity determination using qPCR
We determine whether input amount and integrity of the material are sufficient for the requested library preparation. We report back to our users in case the requirements are not met and consult accordingly if improvements or adjustments can be made.
We determine whether the library profile reflects the indicated preparation method and point out any problematic peaks or library profiles that hint at problems during the preparation or could cause suboptimal results on the sequencing stage. We also determine if molarity is sufficient for sequencing and we report back to our users in case the requirements are not met and consult accordingly if improvements or adjustments can be made.
Pooling strategies
You can choose from a wide range of options to combine and balance individual samples into a pool (multiplex). We perform full QC on the pool, including Qubit, fragment analysis, and qPCR.
